We checked in a little after 7:30 am (after a Starbucks run for daddy). After the IV, blood, and urine samples were taken the doctor broke mom’s water just before 8:30 am. Some more intense contractions started, but not much, just like Izzy. Just before 11:30 the pitocin was started. At about 1:45 pm the contractions started getting painful. Mom took something for the pain maybe around 3:00 pm and 3:30 pm. The doctor came in for the final time around 4:00 pm, Mommy started pushing and the records show Xander was born at 4:09 pm on 4/9/2014. No Joke.
